The Dragonfly 2 represents Spyderco's commitment to creating tools that serve the user with quiet competence. This is a knife designed for those who understand that bigger doesn't always mean better.
Design Philosophy
The Dragonfly 2 is a study in purposeful minimalism. Its compact profile makes it an ideal everyday carry knife, whether you're a tradesman, outdoorsman, or simply someone who appreciates a well-made tool. The orange handle provides excellent visibility and a secure grip in various conditions.
Blade Options
You have your choice of two proven blade configurations:
- SL (Serrated/Liner Lock) - The serrated edge excels at cutting rope, webbing, and fibrous materials with aggressive bite
- PL (Plain/Liner Lock) - The plain edge delivers precision cutting and is easier to maintain and sharpen
Practical Advantages
- Lightweight design reduces fatigue during extended carry
- Reliable liner lock mechanism provides secure blade retention
- Spyderco's signature round hole allows one-handed opening
- Compact size fits comfortably in pocket, pack, or kit
- Durable construction built to Spyderco's exacting standards
The Dragonfly 2 is proof that a knife doesn't need to be large to be effective. It's a tool for those who think clearly about what they actually need.
