Spyderco Dragonfly 2 Folding Knife, Plain Edge

The Dragonfly 2: Compact Cutting Excellence

The Spyderco Dragonfly 2 represents a refinement of a proven design—a mid-sized folder that punches well above its weight class. Despite its compact 2.25" blade, this knife handles like a much larger cutting tool when you put it to work.

Design and Ergonomics

The Dragonfly 2 features thoughtful ergonomic engineering that makes it a pleasure to use for extended periods:

• Blade-to-handle geometry creates natural cutting angles and leveraging points
• Front-finger choil and spine cusp provide control and safety
• Bi-directional texturing on the handle ensures a secure grip in various conditions
• Multiple grip angles accommodate different hand sizes and cutting techniques

Blade Performance

The blade is where Spyderco's commitment to quality shines through:

• VG-10 stainless steel offers an excellent balance of edge retention, corrosion resistance, and ease of maintenance
• Flat-grind configuration creates a keen, efficient cutting edge
• Plain edge design provides reliable cutting performance for everyday tasks

Practical Features

• Reversible tip-up wire clip accommodates both right and left-handed carry
• Spyderco Round Opening Hole enables smooth, reliable one-handed deployment
• Screw-together handle construction allows for easy maintenance and customization
• Fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) handle provides durability and lightweight performance

The Dragonfly 2 is an ideal choice for those seeking a dependable, compact cutting tool that delivers performance without unnecessary bulk.
