The Streamlight Wedge XT: Serious Light in a Pocket-Sized Package
The Wedge XT represents the modern evolution of everyday carry illumination. This is a light built for those who understand that true EDC gear must balance capability with practicality.
Performance and Output
Two distinct lighting modes give you flexibility in the field:
- High Mode: 500 lumens with 1900 candela and an 87-meter beam distance. Runs for 2 hours on a single charge.
- Low Mode: 50 lumens with 200 candela and a 28-meter beam distance. Extends runtime to 11 hours.
The programmable ten-tap switch allows you to configure your preferred operating sequence—either High/Low or Low/High—so the light works the way you work.
Design and Durability
Streamlight engineered the Wedge XT with a thin, ergonomic profile that sits comfortably in hand and pocket alike. The durable anodized aluminum body with polycarbonate lens withstands the rigors of daily carry. It's rated IPX7 waterproof to 1 meter and has passed 1-meter impact resistance testing.
Smart Features
The five-tap lockout prevents accidental activation while the light resides in your pocket or bag. Battery status indicators above the charge port display red when charging and green when fully charged. USB-C recharging happens within the light itself in approximately 6 hours.
