The Cutting Edge MTH line represents a modern approach to precision rifle ammunition. These bullets are machined from lead-free solid copper bar stock on CNC lathes, ensuring consistency and quality in every round.
Key Features
SealTite Band Technology A patented band slightly larger than caliber diameter prevents gas blow-by around the bullet. This innovative design accomplishes two critical goals: it eliminates fliers caused by inconsistent bullet sealing, and it significantly reduces copper fouling—a common issue with monolithic copper bullets.
Expansion and Terminal Performance These bullets do not mushroom in the traditional sense. Instead, they fracture predictably after 1-2 inches of penetration. Three to four petals break away and radiate outward from the main wound channel, creating a wound cavity 2-3 inches in diameter. This fracturing design delivers massive trauma while the main body continues deep penetration.
Velocity Range The MTH bullets will expand reliably down to 1600 fps, making them suitable for hunting at extended ranges where velocity retention becomes critical.
