Important Break-In Information
Glock magazines may feel stiff when new. This is normal and actually a sign of quality construction. For optimal performance during the break-in period:
- Load the magazine with all but the last round and allow it to sit for several days so the spring can compress naturally
- Cycle the magazine from full to empty multiple times to accelerate the break-in process
- After break-in, the magazine will load and function smoothly
This is standard behavior with Glock magazines and does not indicate a defect. The break-in period ensures long-term reliability and consistent performance.
