Design and Construction

The monolithic upper receiver is machined from 7000-series aluminum, providing the strength and repeatability demanded by precision shooters. A full-length M1913 Picatinny rail runs the length of the receiver with integrated taper for long-range shooting, while mounting slots at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock on the handguard create a rigid, highly adaptable interface for rails, optics, and accessories.

The user-changeable barrel system is perhaps the MRAD's most distinctive feature. Conversion between calibers or barrel lengths requires only loosening two bolts with a standard Torx wrench—no gunsmith, no special tools.
