Stevens 301 Turkey XP 410 Gauge Red Dot Shotgun

The Modern Turkey Gun

The Stevens 301 Turkey XP represents a fundamental shift in turkey hunting philosophy. This single-shot, break-action shotgun was purpose-built around modern heavyweight tungsten-super-shot (TSS) turkey ammunition, delivering the patterns and reliability serious turkey hunters demand.

Design and Reliability

Break-action shotguns are among the most reliable firearms ever designed. The 301's simple, robust mechanism requires no complex parts to fail. Load, close, aim, and fire—nothing could be more straightforward. This simplicity translates directly to dependability in the field, whether you're hunting in wet conditions or after years of use.

Optimized for Modern Ammunition

The 26-inch barrel is specifically optimized for Federal Premium HEAVYWEIGHT TSS turkey loads. These modern rounds deliver:

• Denser patterns at extended ranges
• Minimal recoil compared to traditional lead shot
• Superior energy retention downrange

This pairing allows hunters to take ethical shots at distances previously requiring larger gauges.

Practical Features

• 1x30 Red Dot Sight: Pre-mounted and boresighted for immediate use
• Removable Rail System: Allows optic changes or iron sight use
• Extra-Full Choke Tube: Included for maximum pattern density
• Mossy Oak Bottomland Camo: Effective concealment in natural settings
• 3-Inch Chamber: Accommodates modern TSS loads
• Recoil Pad: Reduces felt recoil for comfortable shooting

A Practical Choice

The 301 Turkey XP proves that effective turkey hunting doesn't require complexity. It proves that a well-designed, purpose-built tool—combined with modern ammunition—delivers results. For hunters seeking reliability, simplicity, and proven performance, this is a serious choice.
