Stevens 301 Turkey XP 20-Gauge Shotgun with Red Dot

The Stevens 301 Turkey XP: Purpose-Built for Modern Turkey Hunting

The Stevens 301 Turkey XP represents a fundamental shift in turkey hunting philosophy. This single-shot, break-action shotgun was engineered from the ground up to handle the new generation of heavyweight tungsten-super-shot (TSS) turkey loads—ammunition that delivers devastating pattern density with significantly less recoil than traditional lead shot.

Why This Gun Matters

Turkey hunting has evolved. Modern TSS loads pack the killing power of traditional lead at ranges that were once impossible. The 301 Turkey XP was built to take full advantage of this ammunition revolution. Its simple, single-shot design means one clean opportunity—which is all a turkey hunter needs. The 26-inch barrel and tight choke work together to compress patterns, extending your effective range while maintaining the energy needed for clean, ethical kills.

This is a gun for hunters who understand that turkey hunting rewards preparation, patience, and precision—not firepower.
