Mossberg Patriot 308 Winchester 22" Walnut Rifle

Mossberg Patriot: Tradition Meets Precision

The Mossberg Patriot represents a thoughtful approach to rifle design—combining time-tested bolt-action reliability with contemporary features that matter in the field. This is a rifle that looks right, feels right, and shoots right.

Design and Handling

The Patriot's classic lines and walnut furniture appeal to shooters who appreciate traditional aesthetics without sacrificing modern capability. At 42.75 inches overall with a 13.75-inch length of pull, it shoulders naturally and points instinctively. The matte blued finish on both barrel and receiver provides durable protection while maintaining that understated, professional appearance.

Accuracy and Reliability

Barrel and Crown: The 22-inch fluted barrel features a recessed crown—a detail that protects accuracy by shielding the critical muzzle area from damage. The 1:10 twist rate is optimized for .308 Winchester performance across a wide range of bullet weights.

Bolt Operation: Spiral-fluted bolts with knurl pattern ensure smooth, comfortable cycling under all conditions. This design reduces friction and makes operation reliable whether you're in a heated competition or a cold morning hunt.

Trigger System: The patented LBA (Lightning Bolt Action) trigger is user-adjustable from 2 to 7 pounds. This means you can dial in the exact break weight that suits your shooting style and discipline.

Practical Features

• Weaver-style scope base for easy mounting of optics
• Drop-box magazine system with 5-round capacity for convenient loading and unloading
• Recessed crown protects accuracy and extends barrel life
• Matte blued finish resists corrosion and glare

The Mossberg Patriot is a rifle built on the principle that quality and value aren't mutually exclusive. It's accurate enough for precision shooting, reliable enough for hunting, and priced fairly for shooters who understand that a good rifle should work hard and last long.
