Browning Citori CX 12 Gauge 28" Crossover Shotgun
The Browning Citori CX is a versatile 12-gauge over-under shotgun designed to excel at trap, skeet, sporting clays, and hunting. Features a 28-inch barrel, 3-inch chamber, walnut stock, and blued steel receiver with gold accents. Weighs 8 lbs 1 oz.
The Versatile Crossover Shotgun
The Browning Citori CX represents a thoughtful solution to a common shooter's dilemma: the desire to compete in multiple clay target disciplines without purchasing separate, purpose-built firearms. This over-under shotgun bridges the gap between trap, skeet, and sporting clays competition while remaining practical for field hunting.
Design and Functionality
The Citori CX combines proven engineering with practical versatility. The single trigger features a convenient barrel selector, allowing you to choose which barrel fires first with each pull. Automatic ejectors handle the mechanics—fired shells eject cleanly when you open the breech, while unfired shells elevate for easy removal.
Built to Last
Browning's commitment to quality is evident throughout:
- Transverse-mounted, full-width tapered locking bolt engages a full-width tapered recess in the rear barrel lugs for maximum strength and reliability
- Chrome-plated chambers resist the wear and corrosion that thousands of rounds can inflict on lesser firearms
- Steel receiver with gold accents provides durability and classic aesthetics
- American black walnut stock offers traditional appeal and comfortable handling
