Savage 25 Lightweight Varminter-T: Precision Meets Portability

The Savage 25 Lightweight Varminter-T represents a thoughtful balance between accuracy and field practicality. At just 8.25 pounds, this rifle delivers the precision you demand without the weight penalty that often accompanies serious varmint rifles.

Barrel and Action

24-inch medium-contour barrel — Button-rifled for consistent accuracy and sleeved for added rigidity, this carbon steel barrel is finished in satin blue and delivers the velocity and precision expected from a dedicated varmint platform.

3-lug bolt with 60-degree throw — The short throw allows for rapid follow-up shots while accommodating low-mounted optics without interference. This is practical engineering.

Accuracy and Control

AccuTrigger technology — Savage's user-adjustable trigger system is standard equipment. You control the break weight to suit your shooting style and conditions.

Triple pillar bedding — Ensures consistent barrel harmonics and repeatable accuracy shot after shot.

Weaver-style scope bases — Pre-drilled and tapped receiver accepts standard rings and bases for quick optic mounting.

Handling and Practicality

Wood laminate thumbhole stock — Provides a secure grip and natural point of aim while the laminate construction resists weather and handling wear.

4-round detachable box magazine — Quick magazine changes keep you in the field longer without fumbling with single-round loading.

This is a rifle built for shooters who understand that the best varmint rifle is the one you'll actually carry and shoot.
