Savage 25 Lightweight Varminter-T: Precision Meets Portability
The Savage 25 Lightweight Varminter-T represents a thoughtful balance between the shooter's need for accuracy and the practical demands of field work. This rifle is purpose-built for varmint hunting where both precision and mobility matter.
Barrel and Action
The 24-inch medium-contour carbon steel barrel is satin-blued and sleeved for added rigidity, ensuring consistent accuracy shot after shot. The three-lug bolt features a 60-degree throw, allowing shooters to mount large-diameter scopes low on the receiver for optimal sight picture and handling.
Trigger and Accuracy Features
Savage's revolutionary AccuTrigger comes standard, providing a crisp, predictable break that enhances precision. The rifle ships with Weaver-style scope bases already installed, and triple pillar bedding ensures the action remains stable through extended shooting sessions.
Magazine and Capacity
A four-round detachable box magazine provides adequate capacity for most varmint work while keeping the rifle trim and handy in the field.
Stock and Ergonomics
The natural brown laminate thumbhole stock offers durability and a secure grip, whether you're shooting from a bench or in the field. The fixed design provides consistent cheek weld for reliable scope alignment.
