Leupold VX-R 3-9x40mm Rifle Scope with FireDot

Leupold VX-R Rifle Scope: Precision Optics for the Serious Shooter

The Leupold VX-R represents a significant step forward in rifle scope technology, combining proven optical principles with modern innovations. This 3-9x40mm model delivers the versatility demanded by hunters and sport shooters across varied terrain and conditions.

Optical Excellence

Index Matched Lens System ensures maximum light transmission and clarity throughout the magnification range. The generous eyebox accommodates shooters of different eye positions, reducing the need for perfect cheek weld consistency—a practical advantage in the field.

Illumination and Reticle

The FireDot illuminated reticle provides a bright aiming point in low-light conditions. Motion Sensor Technology (MST) activates the illumination intelligently, extending battery life significantly. The Duplex reticle pattern remains visible even when illumination is off, ensuring functionality in all situations.

Durability and Construction

• 30mm Maintube: Provides superior strength and allows for larger objective lenses
• 6061-T6 Aircraft Aluminum: Military-grade construction for reliability
• Argon/Krypton Waterproofing: Second-generation sealing system prevents internal fogging
• Blackened Lens Edges: Reduces glare and improves contrast
• Twin Bias Spring Erector System: Maintains precise zero under recoil

Practical Features

The one-turn extended range focus system simplifies adjustment for different shooting distances. A 3:1 zoom ratio balances magnification power with field of view. The tactile power selector provides confident operation even with gloved hands. Leupold's Custom Shop can service this scope, ensuring long-term reliability.

Note: This is a blemished unit, which may have minor cosmetic imperfections that do not affect optical or mechanical performance.
