Meprolight ML41230 Hyper-Bright Yellow Ring Front Sight

Meprolight Hyper-Bright Front Sight System

The Meprolight ML41230 represents a thoughtful approach to pistol sighting. This fixed front sight combines a large, brightly colored ring with tritium illumination—two distinct visual systems working in concert.

Design Philosophy

The contrast between the yellow ring and green tritium core serves a specific purpose: it accelerates your ability to locate and focus on the front sight. In defensive and competitive shooting, this matters. Your eye naturally seeks contrast, and the Meprolight exploits this principle.

Key Features

• Large contrasting ring in bright yellow for daylight shooting
• Green tritium core for low-light and nighttime use
• Fixed design with no moving parts to fail
• Optimized for Kimber 1911 suppressed models
• Durable construction built to withstand defensive use

Practical Application

This sight works equally well in bright sunlight and complete darkness. The yellow ring dominates in daylight, while the tritium takes over when light fades. There's no adjustment period—your eyes simply transition between the two visual references as conditions change.

For the 1911 shooter who values reliability and speed of sight picture, the Meprolight Hyper-Bright is a legitimate upgrade.
