Primos Mewie Grande Cow Elk Call
Don't let its compact size fool you. The Mewie Grande is a purpose-built open reed call engineered to deliver the full range of cow elk vocalizations—from soft, mellow mews to loud, aggressive calls that cut through timber and across canyons.
Key Features
- Compact Design: Small enough to fit in your pocket, yet produces phenomenal range in tone and volume
- Enhancer Technology: Built-in enhancer allows you to transition seamlessly from gentle calls to commanding vocalizations
- Minimal Air Pressure: Responsive design requires only light air pressure, reducing fatigue during extended calling sessions
- Versatile Calling: Produces both soft chirps and aggressive cow calls depending on your needs
- Hands-Free Capable: Can be used hands-free for situations where you need both hands for your rifle or bow
Performance
The Mewie Grande's open reed design gives you direct control over your calling. Light pressure produces the soft, natural sounds of content cows. Increase your air pressure and the call responds with the aggressive vocalizations that trigger bull responses from distance. Whether you're working a bull close or trying to reach one across a canyon, this call delivers.
The Bottom Line
Effective elk calling doesn't require complicated equipment. The Mewie Grande proves that a well-designed, compact call in skilled hands can bring big bulls into range regardless of the distance.
