Remington 700 Alpha 1 Hunter 7mm Rem Mag Rifle

Remington 700 Alpha 1 Hunter: Modern Precision in a Classic Platform

The Remington 700 Alpha 1 Hunter represents a thoughtful evolution of America's most popular bolt-action rifle. Built on the legendary 700 platform, this rifle combines time-tested reliability with contemporary features that appeal to hunters and precision shooters alike.

Mechanical Excellence

The heart of this rifle is its refined action. The round receiver features a precision ground recoil lug for consistent lockup, while the one-piece spiral-fluted bolt body reduces weight without sacrificing strength. The changeable bolt handle allows customization to your preference, and tool-less firing pin disassembly simplifies maintenance in the field.

The external bolt release on the left side of the receiver provides intuitive operation, and the enlarged ejection port ensures reliable case extraction in all conditions. An 11-degree target crown protects the barrel's throat and promotes accuracy.

Trigger and Controls

A 3-pound Elite Hunter Timney straight trigger breaks cleanly and predictably—essential for precision shooting. The aluminum Oberndorf-style trigger guard provides a solid platform for your hand, while Picatinny rail mounts with 8-40 scope thread screws ensure your optics stay put.

Barrel and Muzzle

The 24-inch Cerakote-fluted barrel in 7mm Remington Magnum delivers the velocity and energy needed for hunting at distance. The 5/8 x 24 threaded muzzle accommodates suppressors, brakes, or other muzzle devices, making this rifle adaptable to your shooting needs.

Stock and Ergonomics

The AG composite carbon fiber stock in grey speckled finish is lightweight, weather-resistant, and built for hard use. A Pachmayr recoil pad manages the 7mm Magnum's substantial recoil, while the 13 3/8-inch length of pull and carefully engineered drop dimensions provide a natural, comfortable shooting position.
