Safariland 537 GLS Open Top Belt Slide Holster
The 537 GLS represents a thoughtful approach to everyday carry security. Safariland's Grip Lock System (GLS) provides automatic weapon retention the moment your handgun is holstered, then releases intuitively when you establish your standard shooting grip with your middle finger.
Key Features
- Grip Lock System (GLS): Automatically secures your weapon when holstered; deactivates naturally as you draw with a proper shooting grip
- Soft, Flexible Holster Body: Molds around your firearm and body for comfort during extended wear
- Adjustable Retention: Customize the fit and draw resistance to match your preferences and shooting style
- Belt Compatibility: Designed for 1.5" (38mm) belt widths
- Open Top Design: Allows for quick access while maintaining security
Why It Matters
The 537 GLS bridges the gap between security and accessibility. Unlike passive retention systems that require conscious manipulation, the Grip Lock System works with your natural draw motion. This means faster, more intuitive access when you need it, combined with reliable retention during daily activities.
The soft, flexible construction ensures the holster conforms to your body rather than forcing you to conform to the holster—a critical factor for all-day comfort.
