Safariland 537 GLS Open Top Belt Slide Holster
The 537 GLS represents a thoughtful approach to everyday carry security. This belt slide holster combines passive retention with active release—a design philosophy that rewards proper technique while maintaining constant security.
Key Features
Grip Lock System (GLS) The defining feature of this holster is its automatic locking mechanism. Once your Glock 19 or 23 is holstered, the GLS engages without any manual action required. Retention is released intuitively when you establish your standard shooting grip, using your middle finger to deactivate the lock. This means your draw stroke remains natural and instinctive—no fumbling with thumb breaks or awkward release mechanisms.
Comfort and Concealment The soft, flexible holster body molds around your body contours, distributing pressure evenly and reducing printing. This design allows the holster to adapt to your unique physiology rather than forcing you to adapt to rigid plastic.
Customizable Fit Tension adjustment allows you to fine-tune weapon retention to your preferences. Whether you prefer a snug fit or slightly looser retention, you control the setup.
Belt Compatibility Designed for standard 1.5-inch belt widths, ensuring compatibility with most quality gun belts.
The 537 GLS is ideal for shooters who value both security and accessibility in their everyday carry setup.
