A Modern Take on a Timeless Design
The SOG Adventurer LB represents the evolution of a knife design that has served outdoorsmen and working professionals for generations. The lockback mechanism is a proven design—simple, reliable, and inherently safe. It prevents accidental closures and unexpected openings while the knife rests in your pocket or pack.
Blade Performance
The 3-inch drop point blade is forged from 5CR15MOV stainless steel and enhanced with a Ti-Ni coating through SOG's CRYO hardening process. This combination delivers:
- Corrosion and stain resistance for reliable performance in varied environments
- Moderate toughness that balances edge retention with ease of sharpening
- Practical versatility suitable for cutting tasks from camp chores to everyday carry needs
Handle and Carry
The glass-reinforced nylon handle is textured for a secure grip in wet or dry conditions while remaining lightweight and durable. The ambidextrous deep carry pocket clip accommodates both right and left-handed users and positions the knife discreetly for everyday carry.
Why This Knife Works
This is a knife built on proven principles—no unnecessary complexity, no gimmicks. It's the kind of tool that earns its place in your pocket through consistent, reliable performance.
