Sierra MatchKing Tipped .243 95gr Rifle Bullets

Sierra MatchKing Tipped Rifle Bullets – .243 Caliber, 95 Grain

Sierra's Tipped MatchKing (TMK) line represents a significant evolution in precision bullet design. By adding an acetal resin tip to the proven MatchKing platform, Sierra has engineered a bullet that combines exceptional accuracy with practical advantages for modern firearms.

Key Features

• Reduced Drag: The polymer tip lowers ballistic coefficient, delivering flatter trajectories and more predictable wind drift characteristics
• Reliable Feeding: The streamlined tip design ensures consistent magazine feeding in bolt-action and semi-automatic rifles
• Match-Grade Accuracy: Built on Sierra's legendary MatchKing foundation, these bullets are recognized worldwide for record-setting precision
• Quantity: 500 bullets per box

Performance Characteristics

These bullets excel in precision rifle competitions, target shooting, and varmint hunting. The design prioritizes accuracy and ballistic performance over expansion characteristics, making them ideal for shooters who demand consistency and predictability downrange.

Important Considerations

While these bullets are commonly used for varmint hunting, they are not recommended for most big game hunting applications. Their design does not provide the same reliable explosive expansion as Sierra's Hornet Blitz or Varminter bullets at equivalent velocities.

Barrel Requirements

Your rifle must have a barrel twist rate of 1-in-9 inches or faster to stabilize these bullets properly.
