Browning BLR Lightweight Stainless .270 Win Lever-Action Rifle
Modern lever-action rifle with stainless barrel, satin-nickel receiver, and walnut stock. Features rack-and-pinion action, detachable box magazine, adjustable sights, and recoil pad for serious hunters.
The Modern Lever-Action Rifle
The Browning BLR Lightweight Stainless represents what a contemporary lever-action rifle should be. This is a working rifle, not a safe queen—though its handsome appearance might suggest otherwise. The marriage of traditional lever-action reliability with modern ammunition capability makes this rifle a serious choice for hunters who demand performance.
Design and Construction
The BLR features a rack-and-pinion lever action paired with a detachable box magazine, allowing it to handle modern ammunition including hard-hitting magnum loads. The aluminum alloy receiver wears a non-reflective satin-nickel finish that contrasts beautifully with the matte stainless steel barrel.
The curved-grip walnut stock showcases a deep gloss finish that brings out the wood's warm color and grain. Cut checkering on the grip and forearm provides secure handling, while a Schnabel-style forearm offers classic aesthetics with practical control.
