Howa M1500 Mini Hunter: Compact Power in 6.5 Grendel
The Howa M1500 Mini Hunter represents a thoughtful approach to rifle design—taking the proven M1500 platform and optimizing it for shooters who value efficiency and speed.
Key Features
- Mini Action Design: Chamber, bolt, and receiver are 12 percent shorter than standard short actions, resulting in a noticeably faster bolt throw for rapid follow-up shots
- 6.5 Grendel Chambering: A versatile intermediate cartridge offering excellent ballistics for hunting and target shooting
- 22-Inch Threaded Barrel: Provides velocity while accommodating modern suppressors or muzzle devices
- Walnut Stock: Classic, durable furniture that ages beautifully and provides reliable performance
- Blued Steel Receiver: Time-tested corrosion resistance with traditional aesthetics
- Three-Position Safety: Intuitive operation for safe handling in the field
- Sling Swivel Studs: Ready for your preferred carry system
- Drilled and Tapped: Pre-fitted for optics mounting
Why It Matters
The Mini Action's compact dimensions don't compromise on capability. The shorter bolt throw means less arm movement between shots—valuable whether you're hunting or at the range. The 6.5 Grendel delivers modern ballistics in a package that's easy to carry and quick to handle.
