Savage B.Mag 17 WSM 22" Bolt-Action Rimfire Rifle
Savage's B.Mag brings centerfire-class accuracy to rimfire shooting. This 17 WSM bolt-action features an adjustable AccuTrigger, 22-inch barrel, 8-round rotary magazine, and matte black synthetic stock.
A New Class of Rimfire Rifle
The Savage B.Mag represents a significant departure from conventional rimfire design. Built specifically for the flat-shooting 17 Winchester Super Magnum cartridge, this rifle delivers centerfire-class accuracy and reliability in a compact, handy package.
Accuracy-First Engineering
Savage engineered the B.Mag with several features that maximize precision:
- Thread-in barrel headspacing ensures consistent ammunition fit and ignition
- Rear-locking lugs provide a rigid, stable platform for accurate shooting
- Cock-on-close bolt design improves reliability and handling
- Compact action reduces overall weight while maintaining strength
Trigger and Controls
The user-adjustable AccuTrigger is a game-changer for rimfire shooters. You can customize the trigger pull to your preference, delivering a crisp, predictable release that enhances accuracy without requiring gunsmithing.
Magazine and Capacity
The center-feed rotary magazine holds 8 rounds and feeds reliably through the compact action. The design minimizes feeding issues common to some rimfire platforms.
Ergonomics and Comfort
- Matte black synthetic stock is weather-resistant and durable
- Soft rubber recoil pad reduces felt recoil during extended shooting sessions
- Drilled and tapped receiver accepts standard scope mounts for easy optics installation
- 22-inch sporter-contour barrel balances accuracy with handling
