Traditions has evolved the proven Buckstalker platform into the XT—a modern muzzleloader engineered for hunters who demand reliability, accuracy, and ease of use in the field.
Barrel and Construction
The Buckstalker XT features a premium-grade chromoly steel barrel that delivers the strength and accuracy you need while keeping overall weight manageable. The 24-inch barrel strikes an ideal balance between velocity and maneuverability, making this rifle equally at home in dense brush or across open fields.
Trigger and Safety Systems
The Elite XT trigger system provides a crisp, predictable pull. The rifle incorporates a dual safety design: a rebounding hammer and a manual cross-block trigger safety. This combination makes the Buckstalker XT one of the safest muzzleloaders available.
Breech Plug Innovation
The Accelerator breech plug removes by hand in just three turns—no tools required. This one-piece stainless steel design accepts both loose powder and pelletized powder, giving you flexibility in how you load. The tool-free design means faster cleaning and maintenance in the field.
Loading and Ramrod
The Quick-T ramrod handle functions as both a palm-saver and T-handle grip, reducing fatigue during loading. The included brass jag screws in, allowing the ramrod to serve double duty as a work rod or cleaning rod.
Finish and Stock
The stainless steel barrel wears a durable Cerakote finish in Next Wyld camo, providing both corrosion resistance and effective concealment.
