Century Arms VSKA: American-Made AK Reliability
Century Arms has re-engineered the VSKA (pronounced "vis-kuh") as a serious, heavy-duty AK-pattern rifle built for shooters who demand durability and performance.
Critical Components Built to Last
The VSKA represents a significant engineering effort focused on the components that matter most:
- Bolt Carrier, Front Trunnion & Feed Ramp: Machined from S7 tool steel and specially heat-treated for maximum durability
- Bolt: Carburized 4140 steel for reliable feeding and extraction
- Barrel: Chrome-moly 4150 steel with slant compensator
- Receiver: 1/16" stamped steel with manganese-phosphate finish
- Trigger: RAK-1 Enhanced Trigger Group delivers an impressive trigger pull for an AK-pattern rifle
Classic AK Aesthetics
While the VSKA is engineered for serious use, Century Arms hasn't forgotten style. The rifle features American maple wood buttstock and foregrip that give it classic AK elegance without the need for modern furniture.
