Century Arms Sharps MB47: A Modern Sporting Rifle Built for Performance
The Sharps MB47 represents a thoughtful approach to the modern sporting rifle chambered in 7.62x39mm. This is a rifle designed with both the experienced shooter and the newcomer in mind.
Construction and Reliability
The foundation of the Sharps MB47 is a case-hardened billet 4140 milled receiver—the kind of precision manufacturing that ensures consistent performance over thousands of rounds. The 16.25-inch barrel is chrome-lined and fluted, a combination that extends barrel life while reducing weight. The 5/8 x 24 threaded muzzle accepts standard suppressors and muzzle devices, and comes fitted with a Century Arms Chevron Compensator to help manage recoil and muzzle rise.
Ergonomics and Customization
The rifle ships with a US Palm free-float M-LOK handguard and Ultimak rail system, giving you a solid platform for optics and accessories without the expense of additional rails. The Magpul CTR carbine stock provides a comfortable, adjustable cheekrest and length-of-pull adjustment—important features whether you're shooting in a tactical scenario or at the range.
The RAK-1 enhanced flat trigger breaks cleanly and predictably, contributing to accurate shot placement.
