Domain Comeback Kid Seed 1/2 Acre Food Plot Mix

Premium Deer and Turkey Food Plot Seed

The Comeback Kid seed mix represents a thoughtfully engineered approach to wildlife nutrition and habitat management. This blend combines four specialized clover varieties with a single alfalfa variety, creating a forage system that addresses the nutritional demands of deer and turkey throughout the year.

Key Features

• High Protein Content: Formulated to deliver protein levels exceeding 30%, meeting the dietary requirements of deer during critical growth and antler development periods
• Cold-Season Performance: Engineered with perennials and annuals that thrive in cooler months, extending the nutritional window when natural food sources diminish
• Tonnage Production: Designed to produce substantial biomass, ensuring consistent food availability and attraction
• Coverage: One half-acre packet provides adequate seed for efficient plot establishment

Management Strategy

The Comeback Kid system works best with active management. When clover and alfalfa plants flower, they signal maturity—the ideal time to mow plots down to 6-8 inches. This periodic cutting accomplishes multiple objectives: it eliminates competing weeds, stimulates vigorous regrowth, and maintains plants in their most nutritious growth stage.

During this regrowth phase, your food plot reaches peak nutritional value and generates maximum deer and turkey activity. The combination of high protein content and managed growth cycles creates a sustainable, attractive feeding area that supports wildlife health throughout the year.
