Rocky Mountain Rock Star 2.0 Elk Diaphragm Call

Rocky Mountain Rock Star 2.0 Elk Diaphragm Call

The Rock Star 2.0 represents a refined approach to elk calling, delivering the authentic vocalizations that separate successful hunters from those who merely go through the motions.

Capabilities

This diaphragm call is engineered to produce two essential elk sounds:

• Bull bugles — Convincing bugle tones that attract both satellite bulls and herd bulls during the rut
• Cow calls — Nasal cow vocalizations that trigger competitive responses and draw bulls into range

Design Philosophy

Diaphragm calls place the sound-producing reeds directly in your mouth, allowing precise breath control and natural tonal variation. This design enables hunters to produce the subtle inflections and volume changes that distinguish a genuine elk from a mechanical imitation.

Practical Application

The Rock Star 2.0 works best when you understand basic elk behavior. During the rut, bulls respond to both challenge bugles and cow calls. The ability to switch between these vocalizations without changing equipment gives you tactical flexibility in the field.

Getting Started

Diaphragm calls require practice to master. Expect a learning curve, but the investment pays dividends in hunting success and the satisfaction of calling in a bull on your own terms.
