Safariland Model 6378 ALS Paddle Holster
The Safariland 6378 represents a thoughtful balance between accessibility and security—a design philosophy that serves both plainclothes officers and civilian carriers well.
Key Features
- Automatic Locking System (ALS): Secures your firearm automatically when holstered. A simple thumb swipe deactivates the lock as you establish your grip, enabling a natural, efficient draw.
- Open-Top Design: Provides quick access without the need to clear a retention strap, making this holster intuitive for daily carry.
- SafariLaminate Construction: Injection-molded exterior offers durability and a professional appearance while maintaining a slim profile.
- SafariSuede Lining: Protects your firearm's sights and finish from wear.
- Forward Cant: The slight forward weapon cant enhances concealment and promotes a natural draw stroke.
- Dual Attachment System: Includes both a paddle attachment for hip carry and a standard belt loop compatible with 1.5" to 1.75" belts. The belt loop offers adjustable cant angles for customized carry positions.
Design Philosophy
This holster rides close to the body for effective concealment under everyday clothing. The wraparound SafariLaminate design combines strength with a compact footprint, making it suitable for extended daily wear. Whether you're carrying as a backup, off-duty, or as your primary sidearm, the 6378 delivers the security and accessibility serious shooters demand.
