Savage Axis 2 XP .270 Win 22" Hardwood with 3-9x40 Scope

Savage Axis 2 XP: Tradition Meets Modern Hunting Performance

The Axis 2 XP represents a thoughtful evolution in affordable hunting rifle design. Savage has refined the platform with genuine improvements that matter in the field, without sacrificing the value proposition that made the original Axis a favorite among practical hunters.

What Sets It Apart

This rifle delivers several meaningful upgrades:

• User-Adjustable AccuTrigger: A crisp, clean trigger break that you can customize to your preference. This is a feature typically found on rifles costing significantly more.
• Thread-In Headspacing: Ensures consistent chamber dimensions and contributes to the rifle's inherent accuracy.
• Ergonomic Hardwood Stock: The walnut furniture provides classic aesthetics while the redesigned stock geometry improves handling. Laser-cut stippling on the pistol grip and forend provides positive purchase in wet conditions.
• Enhanced Bolt Handle: The new design offers better leverage and control, particularly valuable when working the action in adverse weather.

Ready to Hunt

The rifle arrives as a complete system. The factory-mounted and bore-sighted 3-9x40mm scope features fully multi-coated lenses and tool-less windage and elevation adjustments—you can dial in your zero without additional tools. Two Weaver-style bases are included for future optic changes.
