Taurus 850 Revolver .38 Special 3" 5-Round
Compact, lightweight snub-nose revolver perfect for concealed carry. Double-action only with fully shrouded hammer, fixed sights, and comfortable rubber grip. Chambered in proven .38 Special with 5-round capacity.
The Modern Snub-Nose Revolver
The Taurus 850 represents a thoughtful evolution of the classic snub-nosed revolver—a firearm type that has proven itself in the field for generations. This is a purpose-built concealed carry revolver that doesn't compromise on reliability or shootability.
Design & Handling
The fully shrouded hammer eliminates snags during the draw, a critical feature for anyone carrying in a pocket or waistband. The double-action only (DAO) trigger system means there's no external hammer to manage—just a smooth, consistent trigger press from presentation to shot. The black rubber grip provides secure purchase even under stress, and the compact frame fits naturally in the hand.
