Leupold VX-3HD 4.5-14x40mm Rifle Scope with CDS-ZL

Leupold VX-3HD: Precision Optics for the Serious Rifleman

The VX-3HD represents Leupold's commitment to delivering elite optical performance in a package built to withstand the rigors of field use. This scope combines legendary clarity with rugged reliability—the hallmark of a true workhorse optic.

Optical Performance

The 4.5-14x magnification range provides exceptional versatility for close to mid-range shooting situations, whether you're pursuing game in timber or glassing western mountain terrain. The 40mm objective lens gathers sufficient light for early morning and late evening hunts while maintaining a manageable overall profile.

The Custom Dial System (CDS-ZL)

Leupold's Custom Dial System represents a significant advantage for the serious shooter. Rather than relying on generic turret markings, you customize your elevation dial to match your exact ballistics and environmental conditions. The process is straightforward: range your target, turn the dial to that distance, and aim dead on. The Zero Lock feature ensures your zero remains secure between shooting sessions.

Construction and Features

• 30mm tube provides ample adjustment range for long-range applications
• Second focal plane reticle maintains consistent aiming point across all magnification levels
• Waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof construction handles demanding field conditions
• Scratch-resistant lenses protect optical clarity through years of use
• Lockable eyepiece prevents accidental focus shift during transport or recoil
• 3:1 zoom ratio balances magnification range with optical quality

Wind-Plex Reticle

The Wind-Plex reticle expands on the proven Duplex design with hash marks extending to 10 MOA on each side of center. These 1 MOA increment marks aid in compensating for crosswinds and work effectively with any caliber. The reticle is optimized for use with the CDS system but functions reliably as a standard reticle when needed.

The VX-3HD is the choice for hunters and shooters who demand optical excellence without compromise.
