Dan Wesson DWX Compact 9mm Optic Ready Pistol

Dan Wesson DWX Compact: Hybrid Performance at Its Best

The DWX Compact represents a thoughtful collaboration that merges the best attributes of two legendary platforms. Built on a CZ 75-profile frame with 1911-style customization potential, this 9mm pistol delivers exceptional ergonomics and reliability.

Design & Ergonomics

The grip angle and contours naturally fit most hands, making the DWX Compact equally at home in the hands of competitive shooters and concealed carry practitioners. The aggressive front and backstrap checkering provides positive control in all shooting positions, while the beveled magwell aids in rapid reloads.

Mechanical Excellence

Barrel System: The Dan Wesson locked breech design ditches the traditional 1911 link system in favor of a CZ-style takedown via the slide stop. This bushing-less barrel system simplifies maintenance and takedown—no special tools required.

Sights & Controls:

• Tritium front night sight for low-light shooting
• Fixed Battlehook rear sight for reliable target acquisition
• Front cocking serrations for positive slide manipulation
• Tactical skeletonized hammer for crisp trigger control
• Manual safety for traditional operation
• Interchangeable magazine release (right or left-hand configuration)
