Browning X-Bolt 2 Medallion: Tradition Meets Performance
The X-Bolt 2 Medallion represents the pinnacle of hunting rifle design—a rifle that refuses to compromise between beauty and function. This is a firearm built for the hunter who understands that a well-made rifle is a pleasure to carry and a joy to shoot.
Stock and Finish
The Grade III gloss-finished walnut stock speaks for itself. Rosewood grip and fore-end caps provide both visual contrast and functional durability where your hands grip the rifle most. The gloss finish protects the wood while allowing the natural grain to shine through. The receiver wears a matching gloss-blue finish with tasteful scroll engraving—understated elegance that won't distract from the business of hunting.
Mechanical Excellence
Bolt Action: The spiral-fluted bolt cycles smoothly with an ergonomic knob designed for positive control in the field. This is a bolt that works when you need it to work.
Trigger: The DLX adjustable trigger breaks cleanly and predictably, allowing you to focus on sight picture rather than trigger surprise.
Barrel: The sporter-weight 22-inch barrel balances accuracy with handling. A free-floated design ensures consistent shot placement by eliminating stock-to-barrel contact that can degrade accuracy.
Practical Features
X-Lock Scope Mounting System: Four screws per base provide rock-solid scope attachment. This is the kind of attention to detail that separates quality rifles from the rest.
Radial Muzzle Brake: Helps manage recoil while maintaining the rifle's elegant profile.
The Bottom Line
The X-Bolt 2 Medallion is a rifle that earns its place in your safe and in the field. It's built to last generations and designed to perform when it matters most.
