The Browning X-Bolt 2 Medallion: Where Tradition Meets Modern Performance
The X-Bolt 2 Medallion in .308 Winchester represents Browning's commitment to delivering a rifle that honors hunting heritage while embracing contemporary engineering. This is a bolt-action rifle built for shooters who demand both beauty and accuracy.
Design and Aesthetics
The stock is crafted from Grade V/VI American walnut with a gloss finish, complemented by rosewood grip and fore-end caps. This is not merely decoration—it's a statement about the rifle's quality and intended purpose. The matte blued receiver features scroll engraving that catches the light without drawing unnecessary attention.
Barrel and Action
The 22-inch barrel is wrapped in lightweight carbon fiber and threaded for muzzle devices. This construction delivers the strength you need for reliable accuracy while reducing overall weight—a significant advantage during long days afield. The spiral-fluted bolt with extended handle cycles smoothly and operates with the kind of precision Browning is known for.
Accuracy and Control
- DLX Adjustable Trigger: Delivers a crisp, consistent pull you can rely on
- X-Lock Scope Mounting System: Four screws per base ensure your optics stay put
- Detachable 4-Round Magazine: Quick reloads when you need them
- Recoil Hawg Muzzle Brake: Manages recoil and keeps the rifle steady on target
This is a rifle for hunters who understand that precision and reliability are not luxuries—they're necessities.
