Design Excellence

Every MatchKing bullet features:

• Thin, precisely drawn jackets with concentricity held to 0.0003 inch maximum variation
• Exact weight control maintained to ±0.3 grain for consistency shot after shot
• Hollow point design with minimal meplat for superior ballistic coefficient
• Boat tail configuration that minimizes drag and further improves ballistic performance

Ballistic Performance

This bullet delivers outstanding ballistic coefficients across velocity ranges:

• 0.394 BC at 3250 fps and above
• 0.386 BC between 3250 and 2800 fps
• 0.376 BC between 2800 and 2350 fps
• 0.372 BC at 2300 fps and below

With a sectional density of 0.216, these bullets are ideal for precision rifle cartridges including the .257 Roberts Improved, .25-06 Remington, .257 Weatherby Magnum, and .250-3000 Savage (1x10" twist minimum).

Intended Use

Sierra specifically recommends MatchKing bullets for target shooting and competition. While some shooters have used them for varmint hunting, Sierra does not recommend them for most hunting applications due to their design characteristics.
