The V7 features a cold hammer-forged 16" barrel paired with a mid-length gas system. This combination provides smooth, reliable cycling under demanding conditions while reducing perceived recoil and minimizing wear on critical components. The DD improved flash suppressor effectively reduces muzzle flash signature—a practical advantage in tactical and low-light scenarios.

Handguard and Modularity

The free-floating MFR XS 15" handguard offers exceptional weight savings without compromising strength or durability. M-LOK attachment points positioned along seven locations provide genuine modularity for mounting lights, lasers, grips, and other accessories. An uninterrupted 1913 Picatinny rail runs the full length of the top, accommodating any standard optic or sight system.

Controls and Ergonomics

The independently ambidextrous GRIP-N-RIP charging handle serves both left and right-handed shooters equally well. The Daniel Defense buttstock and pistol grip are engineered for comfort during extended shooting sessions, finished in a durable dark brown Cerakote that resists corrosion and wear.
