Real Avid Bore Boss 9mm/.38/.357 Handgun Bore Cleaner

Real Avid Bore Boss: Field-Ready Bore Cleaning Made Simple

The Bore Boss represents a genuine innovation in portable firearm maintenance. This self-storing bore cleaning system delivers effective single-pass cleaning for 9mm, .38, and .357 caliber handguns without the fuss of traditional cleaning rods and separate components.

How It Works

The system employs a straightforward two-stage cleaning approach:

• Phosphor bronze brush loosens carbon buildup and fouling from the bore
• 8.5-inch braided mop follows immediately to remove loosened debris and fouling
• 12-inch dual-action cable feeds smoothly through the bore with minimal resistance

Practical Design Features

Flex-Case Handle: The ergonomic, flexible-overmolded handle provides comfortable grip and leverage when pulling the cable through tight-fitting bores. More importantly, it serves as integrated storage—the entire brush and mop assembly wraps around the handle, keeping everything organized and protected from damage.

Compact and Portable: Weighing little and taking up minimal space, the Bore Boss fits easily into a range bag, backpack, or even a jacket pocket. This makes it ideal for shooters who maintain their firearms in the field.

Self-Contained System: No loose parts to lose. No separate storage needed. Everything stays together and ready to use.

The Bottom Line

The Bore Boss delivers genuine utility without unnecessary complexity. It's the kind of tool that experienced shooters appreciate—straightforward, effective, and designed with the realities of field use in mind.
