Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Tactical 22LR 4.4" Threaded

Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Tactical: Precision Meets Practicality

The Mark IV 22/45 Tactical represents a thoughtful evolution of a proven design. This .22 Long Rifle pistol bridges the gap between classic 1911-style handling and contemporary tactical features, making it equally at home in the hands of a beginner learning fundamentals or an experienced shooter refining technique.

Design & Ergonomics

The grip frame follows traditional 1911 proportions, offering familiar controls and natural pointing characteristics. The checkered polymer grips provide secure purchase without excessive weight. An ambidextrous manual safety can be converted to left-side only with an included washer, accommodating both right- and left-handed shooters.

Field-Stripping & Maintenance

A single button initiates takedown—no tools required. The barrel-receiver assembly tilts up and away from the grip frame for straightforward cleaning and inspection. This design philosophy extends to the magazine release: a conveniently located push-button on the frame's left side allows magazines to drop free for faster reloading.

Accuracy & Sight Systems

The internal cylindrical bolt construction maintains permanent sight-to-barrel alignment, delivering inherent accuracy advantages over conventional moving-slide designs. An adjustable rear sight comes standard, while the drilled and tapped receiver accepts Weaver- or Picatinny-style rails for optics mounting. Top and bottom Picatinny rails provide multiple attachment points for tactical accessories.
