Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Lite .22 LR Threaded Barrel

Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Lite: Precision .22 LR Pistol

The Mark IV 22/45 Lite represents Ruger's commitment to delivering a reliable, accurate, and user-friendly .22 LR handgun. Whether you're a competitive shooter, a recreational plinker, or someone new to firearms, this pistol offers the precision and handling characteristics that have made the Mark series legendary.

Design and Construction

The 22/45 Lite employs a lightweight aerospace-grade aluminum receiver paired with a cold hammer-forged stainless steel barrel. This combination reduces overall weight to just 25 ounces while maintaining the rigidity necessary for consistent accuracy. The polymer grip frame features a serrated front strap and checkered backstrap, providing secure purchase in various shooting conditions.

Ergonomics and Handling

One-Button Takedown: A single button press in the frame's rear allows the barrel-receiver assembly to tilt up and separate from the grip frame—no tools required. This design facilitates thorough cleaning and maintenance.

Grip and Controls: Checkered 1911-style grip panels deliver a classic appearance and reliable non-slip hold. The ambidextrous manual safety can be converted to left-side only using the included washer. The push-button magazine release sits conveniently on the frame's left side, and magazines drop free upon release for swift reloading.

Accuracy and Sighting

The Mark IV 22/45 Lite features an internal cylindrical bolt construction that maintains permanent sight-to-barrel alignment, delivering superior accuracy potential compared to conventional moving-slide designs. An adjustable rear sight and factory-installed Picatinny rail enable you to mount optics or backup iron sights as your shooting evolves.

Barrel and Ammunition Compatibility

The 4.4-inch stainless steel barrel is threaded with a 1/2"-28 pattern, accommodating popular muzzle devices such as suppressors and flash hiders. The 6-groove rifling with a 1:16" right-hand twist ensures reliable bullet stability and exceptional longevity.

Magazine and Safety Features

Two 10-round magazines ship with the pistol, providing ample capacity for extended shooting sessions. A magazine disconnect prevents discharge when the magazine is removed, adding an extra layer of safety.
