Bullet Design and Construction

The 230gr Hardcast Solid features a wide flat nose gas check (WFNGC) design that cuts a clean, large hole through soft tissue, heavy bone, and hide without deflection or flight deviation. Cast from 21 Brinell hardness lead, the bullet maintains its shape on impact and resists deformation—critical for deep, consistent penetration.

The gas check attached to the bullet's base prevents powder burn from melting the lead, eliminating barrel fouling and smearing that can reduce accuracy and increase cleaning time.
