DoubleTap 454 Casull 400gr Hard Cast Hunter

A Serious Load for Serious Hunting

DoubleTap's 454 Casull Hunter ammunition represents the pinnacle of big-bore performance for hunters and those who venture into remote country where encounters with dangerous game are possible.

What You Get

The Cartridge: The .454 Casull is one of the most powerful handgun cartridges available, delivering rifle-like energy in a revolver platform.

The Bullet: A 400-grain hard cast projectile in a wide flat nose configuration, engineered for maximum penetration and energy transfer. This is not a hollow point—it's built to go deep and straight through heavy bone and muscle.

The Velocity: Loaded to 1400 feet per second, this ammunition delivers the kind of ballistic performance you need when facing large predators or pursuing big game in the field.

Why This Matters

When you're hunting in bear country or carrying for defense against dangerous animals, penetration is everything. The hard cast construction resists deformation, ensuring the bullet reaches vital organs regardless of what it passes through first. The wide flat nose design creates a larger wound channel while maintaining that deep, straight-line penetration.
