Haydel's HS91 Hawk Screamer Open Call
The Hawk Screamer is a versatile open-reed game call designed for serious upland and turkey hunters. This clear acrylic call produces authentic sounds that work across multiple hunting situations.
Key Features
- Open-reed design for natural, realistic sound production
- Clear acrylic construction for durability and visibility
- Multiple applications: turkey location, crow hunting, and upland bird control
Hunting Applications
The Hawk Screamer excels in several hunting scenarios:
- Turkey hunting: Use as a spring locator call to pinpoint gobbler positions
- Upland hunting: Produces hawk and crow fight sounds that stop running birds before they flush in front of your dog
- Crow hunting: Creates convincing predator-prey conflict sounds that draw curious crows into range
Why It Works
Predator sounds trigger instinctive responses in game birds. The realistic hawk-versus-crow fight sounds simulate a natural predator encounter, causing turkeys to respond vocally and upland birds to hold their ground rather than run ahead of pointing dogs.
Whether you're a spring turkey hunter looking for that first gobble or an upland enthusiast seeking better dog work, the Hawk Screamer delivers authentic performance in a reliable, easy-to-use package.
