Haydel's GW-01 Gadwall Duck Call
Master gadwall vocalizations with this open-call design. Produces authentic drake tat-tat sounds and hen quacks. Gray acrylic construction for reliable performance in the field.
Speak Gadwall
Gadwall populations have surged in recent years, making these dabbling ducks an increasingly important target for waterfowl hunters. The Haydel's GW-01 Gadwall Duck Call lets you communicate with them on their own terms.
What It Does
This straightforward open call produces two essential gadwall vocalizations:
- Drake sounds — The distinctive "tat-tat" call that male gadwalls use to communicate
- Hen quacks — The nasally, raspy quacks of female birds
Why It Works
The GW-01 is engineered for ease of use. You don't need years of duck calling experience to produce convincing gadwall sounds. The call's design naturally guides you toward authentic tones with minimal practice.
Constructed from durable gray acrylic, it withstands the rigors of early-season hunting when gadwall activity peaks. Whether you're working a small pothole or a major reservoir, this call gives you a reliable way to bring gadwall within range.
The Bottom Line
If gadwall are on your menu, the Haydel's GW-01 belongs in your blind. It's a purpose-built tool that does one thing exceptionally well.
