Cold Steel 49HTF Mini Tac Tanto Fixed Blade Neck Knife

Cold Steel Mini Tac Tanto: Compact Utility at Your Fingertips

Cold Steel's Mini Tac Tanto represents a refined approach to everyday carry and utility cutting. This is a knife designed to be worn comfortably around the neck or attached to gear for extended periods without fatigue or discomfort.

Blade Design and Performance

The 3.75-inch blade is forged from AUS-8A stainless steel—a material selected for its balance of edge retention and corrosion resistance. Cold Steel's heat treatment process ensures the blade achieves a razor edge while maintaining the toughness necessary for real-world use. The tanto profile provides a strong point and flat cutting edge, making it equally capable for utility tasks and emergency situations.

Construction and Durability

Full tang construction means the steel runs the entire length of the handle, providing exceptional strength and longevity. Despite its compact size, this knife punches well above its weight class in terms of durability and reliability.

Carry and Deployment

• Secure Ex Sheath: Rugged, purpose-built sheath designed for outside-the-clothing carry
• Bead Chain Lanyard: Allows secure attachment to pack, belt, or clothing
• Versatile Mounting: Easily ties or tapes to backpacks, fanny packs, or other gear

Ideal Applications

Whether you're camping, hiking, or simply need a dependable utility blade within arm's reach, the Mini Tac Tanto delivers. Its compact profile makes it suitable for rescue situations, emergency preparedness, or everyday cutting tasks where a larger knife would be impractical.
