Winchester XPR Hunter 243 Win 22" Flat Dark Earth

Winchester XPR Hunter: Affordable Excellence for the Field

The Winchester XPR Hunter represents Winchester Repeating Arms' commitment to delivering quality bolt-action performance at a price that won't break the bank. This rifle is purpose-built for hunters who demand reliability without compromise.

Design and Construction

The XPR features a chromoly steel, free-floating barrel topped with a recessed target crown and finished in tough Permacote Flat Dark Earth—a non-reflective finish that resists corrosion and blends seamlessly into the field. The one-piece chromoly steel receiver is drilled and tapped for standard 8-40 scope bases, ready for your optics of choice.

Stock and Ergonomics

The synthetic TrueTimber Strata camouflage stock is engineered for serious hunting conditions. Its advanced polymer construction provides superior grip in wet weather while resisting scratches and bumps that come with field use. The stock incorporates Winchester's Inflex Technology recoil pad, which effectively manages recoil impulse while remaining comfortable during extended shooting sessions.

Trigger and Controls

The M.O.A. Trigger System delivers a clean, predictable break. A two-position safety and bolt release button provide intuitive operation. The one-piece trigger guard and magazine frame design features a generous opening—essential for shooting with gloves in cold weather.

Magazine and Capacity

The detachable single-stack box magazine holds three rounds of .243 Winchester ammunition, providing the capacity most hunters need while keeping the rifle trim and balanced.
