Winchester's XPR is a rugged, affordable hunting rifle featuring a free-floating chromoly barrel, M.O.A. trigger system, and synthetic stock with Inflex recoil pad. Drilled and tapped for scopes, 3-round magazine, 44" overall length, 7 lbs.
The Winchester XPR represents a straightforward approach to modern hunting rifle design. It's engineered for hunters who demand reliability, accuracy, and durability without unnecessary complexity or premium pricing.
The heart of the XPR is Winchester's M.O.A. Trigger System. All trigger components are constructed from polished and hardened carbon steel with a blued finish for corrosion resistance. The two-position safety operates conveniently with your thumb, and the bolt release button—located just forward of the safety—allows you to cycle unfired cartridges without disengaging the safety. A cocking indicator on the bolt shroud provides both tactile and visual confirmation of the rifle's cocked or uncocked condition.
The robust XPR bolt is machined from chromoly steel and through-hardened for strength. Its design features three front locking lugs and a short 60-degree lift for improved scope clearance during cycling. A nickel Teflon coating ensures smooth operation and corrosion resistance. The one-piece trigger guard and magazine frame design provides a generous opening for gloved operation. The chromoly steel receiver is drilled and tapped for standard scope mounting.
The free-floating chromoly barrel is precisely button-rifled to deliver consistent accuracy across a wide range of bullet weights and types. The 24-inch barrel wears a matte blued finish with a recessed target crown that protects the rifling from damage.
The black synthetic stock features textured grip panels for positive control in wet conditions and resists scratches and impact damage. The Inflex Technology recoil pad reduces felt recoil while maintaining a secure fit. Length of pull measures 13¾ inches.
The XPR is a no-nonsense rifle built to put game in your freezer season after season.
