Beretta A400 Xtreme Plus: Purpose-Built Performance
The Beretta A400 Xtreme Plus is a semiautomatic shotgun engineered for serious hunters and sport shooters who demand reliability, speed, and comfort. Whether you're pursuing upland game, waterfowl, or competing in clay target sports, this shotgun delivers the performance characteristics that separate quality firearms from the rest.
Key Performance Features
Blink Technology gives you a decisive advantage in the field. This proprietary system cycles 36 percent faster than conventional semiauto shotguns, meaning quicker follow-up shots when it matters most.
The Steelium Plus barrel represents Beretta's commitment to superior patterning across all hunting loads. Combined with lengthened forcing cones and a step rib design, you get consistent, predictable shot placement.
Recoil Management and Comfort
Recoil management is built into every aspect of this shotgun:
- Kick-Off system with ultra-soft Micro-Core butt pad minimizes felt recoil
- Soft comb reduces cheek impact during recoil cycles
- Stock geometry designed for parallel recoil to the cheek mount
- Lightweight synthetic construction at 7.4 pounds
Practical Features for the Field
- 26" barrel with ventilated rib and integral mid-bead for fast target acquisition
- Fiber optic front bead for superior visibility in varying light conditions
- Enlarged loading port and extended charging handle for quick reloads
- Aqua Technology protective coating resists water, powder, sand, and salt spray
- Built-in Picatinny rails for easy optics mounting
- Includes five extended Optima HP choke tubes for load versatility
Construction and Durability
The gray Cerakote receiver finish provides excellent corrosion resistance. The OptimaBore HP barrel combines superior material quality with a protective finish that stands up to harsh hunting conditions. This is a shotgun built to last through seasons of hard use.
The A400 Xtreme Plus represents the evolution of semiautomatic shotgun design—combining speed, comfort, and reliability into a single, purposeful tool for the serious shooter.
