Nightstick TCM-550XL Compact Weapon Light

Nightstick TCM-550XL Compact Weapon-Mounted Light

The TCM-550XL represents a serious commitment to tactical illumination in a compact package. This weapon light delivers 550 lumens of white LED output through a precision-engineered total internal reflection (TIR) lens, producing a sharp, focused beam rated to reach 136 meters—more than enough distance for most defensive scenarios.

Design and Build Quality

The housing is constructed from aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum with a polymer rear section, creating a durable platform that withstands the rigors of duty use. The light measures just 2.5 inches in length and weighs 2.5 ounces, making it ideal for compact handguns and subcompact platforms without adding significant bulk.

Controls and Operation

Ambidextrous rear-facing toggle switches on each side of the light provide intuitive operation for both right and left-handed shooters. Choose between momentary-on activation for tactical use or constant-on mode for sustained illumination. The controls are positioned where your thumb naturally rests, eliminating the learning curve.

Durability and Reliability

• IP-X7 Waterproof Rating: Fully submersible to 1 meter for 30 minutes
• Impact Resistant: Rated for 2-meter drops
• Chemical Resistant: Polymer components resist solvents and cleaning agents
• Runtime: 2.5 hours on a single CR123 lithium battery

What's Included

The TCM-550XL ships with four handgun-specific modular rail inserts (pre-configured with a Glock-compatible C1 insert), two spare Allen screws, an Allen wrench, and one CR123 lithium battery. Additional rail inserts allow you to adapt this light to various handgun platforms.

A Practical Choice

This is a no-nonsense weapon light designed for serious shooters who demand reliable illumination without unnecessary complexity. Whether you're setting up a duty gun, home defense pistol, or competition platform, the TCM-550XL delivers the performance you need in a size that makes sense.
