Barrel and Gas System

The heart of this rifle is an 18" cold hammer-forged barrel with Daniel Defense's proprietary steel construction and chrome lining. The barrel features a 1:10" twist rate optimized for 7.62 NATO ammunition. A user-adjustable gas block allows you to fine-tune performance for suppressed or unsuppressed shooting—a critical feature for shooters who demand versatility.

Receiver Construction

Both upper and lower receivers are CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished with Type III hard coat anodizing for superior durability. The lower receiver includes an enhanced flared magazine well for reliable feeding and a rear QD swivel attachment point for sling mounting.

Ergonomics and Modularity

The DD5 Rail 15.0 handguard uses M-LOK attachment for mounting optics, lights, and other accessories. The buttstock and pistol grip are constructed from glass-filled polymer with soft touch overmolding for comfortable, secure handling. The receiver extension offers 7 positions for stock adjustment.
